Voice actors are actors who perform vocal work for characters in games, films, and television shows (including anime).

In the video game industry, voice actors are often the only actors involved, as the characters are digitally rendered. However, since the mid-2000s, the usage of motion capture in AAA-titles has increased, requiring both physical and vocal performances.

While early game titles featured atrociously bad voice acting, demand for quality voice acting has skyrocketed.
