Scott Cawthon is an independent video game designer, developer, and publisher. Known for his works in Christian themed video games and computer animated films for the Christian media website Hope Animation.com, Scott achieved widespread popularity among the internet and gaming community for his Survival horror video game Five Nights at Freddy's, released in August 2014, its three prequels/sequels, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and its spinoff Five Nights at Freddy's World.
