Panic Park is an arcade game developed by Namco in 1997.

Gameplay[ | ]

The game has 25 mini-games, 5 of which are solely the final stage in Solo Play, but can be any stage in VS Play. Rocket Panic is levels 1, 6, and 11, Electric Panic, levels 2, 7, and 12, Hammer Panic, 3, 8, and 13, Space Panic, 4, 9, and 14, and Jumping Panic, levels 5, 10, and 15. In addition, the game has a Panic King mode for one player only. In it, the player can set a high score, by attempting to beat the old record of the players who previously played the mode. In January and July, the Panic King stage is Shark Panic, in February and August, it is Buffalo Panic, in March and September, Missile Panic, in April and October, Jumping Panic, in May and November, Mole Panic, and in June and December, Fire Panic.

Controls[ | ]

The game's controllers are unique because there are two levers on the same row, which allows the players to push the avatars against each other, thus impeding the progress of the other player. This is reinforced by the message "Push One Another!" in the game.

Controversy[ | ]

Around the same year when the game was in Arcades, The US government banned the game in US arcades due to shoulder injury lawsuits.
